Dana Palmer
Dana Palmer, CG®, CGL(SM) has been a certified genealogist (CG) since 2009 and a certified genealogical lecturer (CGL) since 2019. She has been a genealogy instructor at Sinclair Community College in Ohio since 2010. She has spoken at national, state, and local genealogy events including RootsTech, NGS, FGS, and frequently at OGS (Ohio).
She specializes in lineage society applications, publishing family books, and Midwestern research – specifically Ohio, but she also has experience in Germany, Denmark, and the U.K. She is also employed by Eagle Investigative Services doing military repatriation work. She has over 35 years of experience in family history work, since she got started at such a young age. She loves problem solving and tracking down those elusive ancestors.
She has received numerous awards for her books and volunteer efforts. She belongs to several lineage societies including I.S.D.U.P., U.S.D.A.R., U.S.D. 1812, and Colonial Dames. She received a bachelor's degree in math education to teach high school mathematics.

Founder & President
James Carsten
James Carsten is the Founder and President of Eagle Investigative Services, Inc. He is a U.S. Army CW2, Retired. James’s career included the U.S. Army Criminal Investigations Command as a Special Agent, Team Chief, Special Agent in Charge, and Task Force Commander. He was also in the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command as an Interrogator, Strategic Debriefer, and Human Intelligence Collector.
James is a subject matter expert in Strategic Investigative Planning, Advanced Interviewing Techniques, and Advanced Investigative Technologies. He is also a Certified Forensic Experimental Trauma Interviewer (FETI)
James has extensive experience in intelligence collection and strategic debriefing in real-time battlefield applications. He produced accurate, detailed, comprehensive reports which generated or validated vital intelligence to various agencies of the U.S. Intelligence community. He conducted and managed criminal investigations into Persons and Property Crimes, Frauds, and Counter Drug.
James’s enhanced skill sets in information collection and analysis through interviewing and strategic debriefing has given Eagle Investigative Services, Inc. clients a level of verified information not seen before in the investigative services industry.
